Minister Foley Officially Opens New Naas Community College Building

Wednesday 5th October 2022 marked the official opening of the new building of Naas Community College by Minister for Education, Norma Foley. The state-of-the-art new campus is located on the Osberstown Road in Millenium Park in Naas, Co. Kildare. The minister was greeted by our 6th year prefects and the entire student body at a whole school assembly. Some beautiful music was provided by our music department, school choir and music students. The minister thanked all of the people involved in the planning and construction of the school, the teaching staff and management for all of their hard work and dedication over the past few years, the parents for their continued support and of course the students. Minister Foley visited a few classes and spoke to some of our students, and guests were invited for refreshments provided by our Home Economics department. The whole school community had been waiting a long time for this day, and a fantastic morning was had by all.

Thank you to all of the staff, students, parent representatives, the board of management, KWETB representatives and all of the invited guests for coming to mark this momentous occasion.
