The responsibilities of the Board are defined in the ETB Act 2013 and the Code of Practice for the Governance of ETBs As per section 12(2) of the Act, the reserved functions are those carried out by the Board.

In accordance with section 45 of the ETB Act, the Board has established a Finance Committee and an Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) to assist it with its duties.
