PREPARATION OF A DRAFT SCHEME BY THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND TRAINING BOARDS (ETBs):
Cavan and Monaghan ETB, City of Dublin ETB, Cork ETB, Donegal ETB, Dublin and Dun Laoghaire ETB, Galway and Roscommon ETB, Kerry ETB, Kildare and Wicklow ETB, Kilkenny and Carlow ETB, Laois and Offaly ETB, Limerick and Clare ETB, Longford and Westmeath ETB, Louth and Meath ETB, Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim ETB, Tipperary ETB and Waterford and Wexford ETB.
The above named ETBs propose to draft language schemes in accordance with the Official Languages Act, 2003.
The primary objective of the Act is to ensure better availability and a higher standard of public services through Irish.
Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) now wishes to invite submissions in relation to the preparation of the draft schemes from any interested parties.
Submissions should be forwarded electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org and should not exceed 4,000 words (c. 8 pages).
Each submission must include the name of the ETB being referred to.
The latest date for receipt of submissions is 5pm on 13 June, 2014.
