The Chair of the KWETB Board and Mayor of Kildare, Brendan Weld and Chief Executive of KWETB Sean Ashe presented Junior Certificate Excellence Awards to two Students from KWETB on Monday 21st September 2015.
Niamh Clarke, St. Kevins CC, Dunlavin and Miranda Faul, Coláiste Lorcain, Castledermot were among six students nationwide to receive 12 As in their Junior Certificate. Sean Ashe commended both students, their teachers, schools and families for their significant achievement. He noted the excellent results achieved in all KWETB schools and praised the high quality of teaching and learning, care and community spirit that is central to all KWETB Schools.
The quality of teaching and learning is constantly being invested in by KWETB with initiatives such as instructional leadership Program, teacher networks, in-service, interactive IT supports and research into quality teaching methodologies. Congratulations to all our junior certificate students!
