KWETB Community Education Service Invite Applications for Group Funding

Community Education Service

Eligible not for profit Community and Voluntary Groups are invited to apply for funding for projects that will take place during Spring 2017.  The examples below are for illustration only.  If you have another idea or if you would like us to work with you to identify your particular areas of interest please contact us for details.  We are particularly interested to hear from groups who want to develop projects to engage with:

  • Long Term Unemployed
  • 16 and 25 who are not in education or employment
  • Integrating people with a disability into their local community

Groups that have not accessed community education funding previously will need to register with us first.  Please make contact to arrange this.

We are also interested in hearing from people who may be interested in partnering with us to provide Community Education Projects in their area but have not yet formed a group.

Personal             Reflect on & Refocus your Work Life, Mindfulness, Nutrition, Cookery,  Outreach Computers

Community        Leadership, Expressive Art,  Community Art (including Film making, sculpture, storytelling, welding), Place based projects, Mediation Skills, Social Enterprise including setting up      Community Cafes

Society                 Active Citizenship, Understanding Local    Government, Social Issues, Development Education


  1. Support to build the sustainability of your group

Building Community Education (A mentoring programme tailored to your group), Planning and Review, Organising an Event.

Deadline for receipt of applications is 12 noon on November 18th 2016 using the Funding Guidelines and Funding Application Form.
