Partnership initiative between Signal Arts Community Art Centre, Kildare & Wicklow Education and Training Board’s Community Education Programme and The Mermaid Arts Centre 
Autumn 2014 –   exciting opportunity for artists interested in developing their Community Arts practice
You are invited to apply for this course at QQI level 6Tuesdays from 9.30am to 4.30pm (10 sessions), starting 9th September 2014

The Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray

Facilitator:  Alice Emma Bennett, Community Art Facilitator

This course will have a strong practical element that will involve applying current theory in the area of Community Art in a community setting – therefore, applicants must be in a position to organise work experience with a community group for a minimum of 5 days during the programme.

Creative methods will be employed and encouraged throughout the course
