Community Education Funding – Spring/Summer 2019

Eligible not-for-profit Community and Voluntary Groups are invited to apply for funding for activities to take place during Spring/Summer 2019.

The funding may be used to provide opportunities for your group to learn new skills OR/AND to support the sustainability of your group to fundraise, broaden membership, plan, organise and document events, work more effectively as a committee.

We are also interested in hearing from people who may be interested in partnering with us to provide Community Education Projects in their area but who have not yet formed a group.

The following examples are for illustration only as we can work with you to identify your group’s own areas of interest

A. Projects Personal – Using iPads, Facebook, Smartphones, Active-Online

Managing Stress (Yoga/Mindfulness)

Creativity (Art/ Ceramics/            Crafts/Photography/Woodwork/ Willow-craft)

Health (First Aid, Cooking healthy meals on a budget)

Life Planning

Community – Building a nature-friendly community

Intercultural projects


Community Art

Place or local history projects

Social Enterprise

Community Gardening

Outdoor Education

Mediation Skills

Society – Climate Justice

Active Citizenship

Understanding Local Government

Exploring Social Issues

Women’s Studies

Groups that have not accessed community education funding previously will need to register with us before applying. Please contact us to arrange.
