Apprenticeships

August 12, 2015

Apprenticeships are now a viable alternative to third level for people who want to “learn and earn” while preparing for their future career. As mentioned in this article from this morning’s Irish Independent KWETB schools and further education and training centres provide a wide range of courses giving future apprentices the skills and experience they need to continue on this route of combined work and education.
There are a number of useful websites for more information in this exciting growing sector in education:
KWETB Adult Guidance Services for advice and guidance or the FET Directory for lists of courses and schools and centre contact details.
Contact SOLAS for more information about apprenticeships www.solas.ie and Fast Track to IT (FIT) www.fit.ie for more interesting course options.
