Information Management

Organisational policies are in place for the management and protection of data in compliance with the GDPR. There is a policy on Freedom of Information in place.

The main system that is used to collect, store and report information is the Programme and Learner Support System (PLSS). This database includes information about learners and courses. The QQI Business System (QBS) and the Results Capture and Certification Request System (RCCRS) are used to request certification and to record and store assessment results and details on awards achieved by learners. These systems are full protected and accessed only by authorised personnel and only for specific purposes connected with the learner’s education and training.
